Provenance
By descent in the Scott-Wheeler family.
With surface accretions, discoloration, and dark marks to surface; a slightly sticky residue present to the lid and neck and lip of vase; surface requires cleaning. The cover and handles are especially darkened and dirty. No signs of breaks or damage, including under UV light. Some minor chips to raised designs. Some fritting to foot. Old paper identification label with number '6' applied to underside.
