Gorgeous Chinese silk gold thread embroidery tapestry. Scenes of elder Monarch or King's family member birthday celebration. Chinese character "SHOU" - long life at the center, left top corner embroideried with "Fen Yang Wang Fu". Top with dragons and figurines and all other decorations around the article. This is an article from Dr. Charles Walter McCutchen, a physicist whose wide range of scientific studies and interests included aerodynamics, joint lubrication and scientific fraud. He published numerous research papers in a wide variety of publications over his entire working career which continued until his death. For over 35 years Dr. McCutchen worked for the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda Maryland.Painting sight approximately: 170" x 72"Condition: Excellent estate condition, some thread and one side of edge with some thread loose.Provenance: Dr. Charles Walter McCutchen Estate Collections.
