(Disneyland, 1954) A stunning early original concept drawing by artist Herb Ryman for the Hub Restaurant and True-Life Adventure entrance at Disneyland. In addition to helping shape the overall layout of Disneyland, Ryman produced designs for individual attractions which would often be taken to banks and other investors during the search for Disneyland Participant Sponsors from 1954 to 1955. Herb's depicted quick sketch "suggestions" ultimately evolved into the timeless Plaza Inn Restaurant which continues to enhance the show quality of Main Street at Disneyland. The 31"x11.5" ink and graphite drawing has been professionally mounted to a piece of artists' board measuring 32"x13.25". The piece is in very good condition, exhibiting mild color toning and areas of discoloration from age, and minor wear from use.
