DESCRIPTION: Inkwell set featuring two gilt bronze inkwells-each with a hinged lid crowned with a foliage design-mounted on a four-footed, rouge marble foundation with an indentation for placing items and utensils. Piece is adorned on the front with a gilt bronze floral, foliage, ribbon, and fruit application and embellished with a gilt bronze pen holder at the rear with floral and foliage designs throughout. Finished at the center of the marble foundation with a polychrome champleve adornment with floral and foliage designs.
