Gorgeous Victorian blue signed Pairpoint silverplate pickle castor. Just incredible! Eunice, our spry 96 year old Packing Peanut Manager here at Magnum Auctions, Loves the color of this piece of Victoriana. It reminds her of the blue feathered fan she used to use during her Burlesque show. Yep, Eunice was quite the well know Burlesque dancer back in the day. World renowned, she was quite the celebrity. Her most favorite costume she wore was a matching pair of blue tassles, a blue ostrich feather fan, a feathered headpiece, and blue sequined shoes made by the same costume designer company that made the ruby slippers for The Wizard of Oz. Such a talented gal. Why she was able to get one of her tassles rotating in the opposite direction as the other. Those were the days. Now if she wore the same costume, they would get caught in her waistband. Alas, after the years of performing and a long enjoyable retirement, she decided to come work for us in the postion of Packing Peanut Manager. Keeping track of the packing peanuts is a grueling task, but she is always up for a challenge. This pickle castor will hopefully remind you of the days of Burlesque and our dear Eunice. It stands 11 1/2" tall.
