The consignor found a beautiful Fenton covered jar at an estate sale. She almost didn't attend because her granny was having a nose job. Granny had waited until she was just sure what type of nose she wanted hers transformed into. Should it be Madame the puppet. Joan Collins distinctive example. Judy Garland's perky little impish one? Alas, she decided on Madame the puppet. That, she decided, would be a nose that would stand out among any other and set her apart from the from the other 90 year old women in her tiny community of 45 in the backwoods of Kentucky. She was sure. And so right she was. Ten hours of surgery and four skin grafts, and five implants later, she had Madame the puppet's nose. So stylish and Not one of the ole dames in her church group had something like it. When she walked into the card club she attended every Thursday, those ladies were left speachless as well. Her great, great niece, the consignor, none the less, opted to not be by her side for the life changing surgery. Instead she spent the day attending many estate sales and this is where this gorgeous cruet was later found. It was in a covered jar sitting atop the bathroom cabinet. It was cradled in a wad of toilet tissue. Someone cared enough to stuff this baby in a Cheesy decoration if we must say, Fenton-covered jar high atop the bathroom cabinet to be discovered anew when the owner of the house finally passed. This lovely and expertly decorated cruet can now be yours. Measures 7 1/2" tall.
