J. & E. Stevens circa 1879. Mechanical cast iron painted bank 'Always did 'spise a mule' , jockey on bench. Put a coin underneath the boy’s bench and depress the button on the ground underneaththe mule. The Mule swivels and kicks the boy back then the coin is deposited into the bank slot. Marked underneath PATD APR 27 1897 Approximate height 6", width 10", depth. Wear to paint and working. Original condition.
