Jean Charlot (American/French, 1898-1979) large oil on canvas portrait of Arne Coward with torture devices from the Museum Macabre, Honolulu, Hawaii. Please Note that the next lot (#303B) includes the garrote and iron torture device depicted in this painting.Signed lower left Jean Charlot 1971.The work is beautifully framed with engraved plaque reading 'Arne Coward, Founder of the Coward collection, Honolulu 1971'. Please note that the garotte and torture instruments depicted in this painting are included in the following lot #303B.
