This line recalls the elegance of the historic lines of the 1930s - A true legend of its time is this new Optima which maintains its unique and charming line to become, once again, a cult object for people who know what they want.
The Auroloid version of the Optima has been created with period materials and is distinguished by the hand-finishing of the ornaments and great attention to the smallest details.
The cap and barrel are made of Auroloide amarmolide, a very old, yet prestigious and refined material.
This fountain pen features the traditional piston-loading mechanism with the unique Aurora reservoir. When the ink runs out, simply turn the base counter-clockwise and the hidden reservoir will provide ink for approximately one more sheet of writing. The base of the pen can be left rotated as a reminder not to forget to refill the fountain pen.
The blue auroloid resin is reminiscent of a sunset sky still reflecting sunlight.
