Gemini 3: "The Molly Brown" Patch, Personal Property of Virgil I. Grissom with LOA (1926-1967) Gemini 3 flew on March 23, 1965 with Virgil "Gus" Grissom and John Young which was the first crewed mission for Project Gemini flying three low Earth orbits in their spacecraft, which they nicknamed Molly Brown. Offered is a very rare "Molly Brown" patch manufactured by Stylized Emblem Co. Hollywood, CA 90038 that was given to the two crew members and family post flight. This patch was personally owned by Gus Grissom which has remained in the Grissom Estate until being offered in this auction. Letter of authenticity by Mark Grissom. Estimated Value $1,500 - 2,000
