Comprising a finely carved boulder on the front depicting a man fishing in a mountainous landscape and village and on verso the same man descending stairs with a fish. Inscribed in gilt highlighted Chinese characters with the following poem “In autumn, fisherman catch fish on the riverside of the mountain. When I catch a fish on the riverside, I thank the God so high in the sky.” Resting on a conforming carved wood base. The boulder width 4.5 inches (11.5cm), height 3.4 inches (8.5cm).
