Lucky Strike Display Box Containing Four "50s" Tins And Two Cut Tobacco TinsVintage pre-World War II era "Lucky Strike Cigarette" card box containing four empty "Flat Fifties" tins in green, red and black, each printed with "Factory No. 30 District N.C." to base. The box lid has cutout flap for counter display with instractions "Mr DEALER: Kindly tuck this flap behind top row of cigarettes. THIS WILL GIVE YOU AN EXCELLENT DISPLAY." Also included are a tin dispenser for "W-B Cut Tobacco, It's got a SWELL FLAVOR", 10 1/2" high x 4 1/4" wide x 2 1/2" deep; and a "Belfast Cut Plug Smoke or Chew" tin, 3 1/2 high x 6" wide x 3 1/2" deep. Lucky Strike and W-B in Very Good condition with some toning ad splits to Lucky Strike box, tins with some paint loss and scratches, oxidization. Belfast tin Good, with paint los and scratches.Lucky Strike stopped using their distinctive green packaging in 1942 during World War II, using the slogan "Lucky Strike Green Goes To War!", claiming that they were switching to white packaging to save on green dye needed for the war effort.
