Together with a copy of the sitter's memoir 'Hunting Reminiscences' in which the portrait is featured. (2)
Footnotes:
Herman Tiarks (1875-1955) was Master of the Mendip Foxhounds. The landscape portrayed is Crooks Peak in the Mendips, close to Tiarks' Somerset home. Fox hunting was his lifelong passion; Pickles, another horse from Tiarks' extensive stable, is also depicted here.
