Description
Presented here is a very nice and attractive diving helmet bonnet. The manufacturer or country of origin is unknown, but it fits the style of helmets made in Japan or Korea. The helmet features a wonderful green patina formed over many decades. Original brass hardware is present, along with what appears to be the original glass. The faceplate glass is cracked with a small hole present. Both knobs on the faceplate are gone. The internal air vents are present. Typical working dents on the top are present but overall in much better condition than most that are found. The back features a visible castling seam line which gives the helmet an added visual appeal. It would be difficult to find a more honest original example in this fine condition.
All diving helmets in this auction will be accompanied by a certificate of authenticity from Nations Attic. The certificate will have a unique number that will match the number on a tamperproof hologram decal placed inside the helmet. This information will be kept on permanent file at Nations Attic and help ensure the provenance of the helmet and authenticity.
All items will be shipped with a signature required upon delivery and full insurance either via FedEx or the USPS Priority Mail.
