Description
Egon Schiele
The drawing is made in the well-known style of Egon Schiele. He was a contemporary Austrian painter and printmaker and a disciple of Gustav Klimt. He was, along with Oskar Kokoschka, the greatest representative of Austrian expressionism. In his short but eventful life I have produced 340 paintings and around 2,800 drawings. His life was surrounded by an aura of mysticism and a very precious talent. His creative work by him includes poems and photographic experiments. His particular style of him placed him among the expressionist movements, especially the Vienna Secession, with a very personal typology. One of the strongest characteristics of Schiele's painting is the dexterity and firmness of his stroke, which continues once started without respite, until the end, without subsequent correction. It seems that the artist continued with the drawing of him without caring if the model moved or changed places, since the line continued its course, carrying all the emotional dimension of him."In the style of" works are works by an unknown creator whose style is heavily influenced by the style of the named master artist.Location: This item ships from the United States.Origin: private collection.
