American. 1930s. Painted pressed steel. Sir Malcolm Campbell was the first to achieve a land speed of over 200 miles per hour in the "Blue Bird III" in 1928. Stamped, "Pat'd Made in U.S.A" on winding mechanism. Tires stamped, "Dunlop Cord Made in U.S.A". Original surface and decals. Surface exhibits scattered minor losses with accompanying oxidation. Gary Archer Collection. 4" x 20" x 5".
