"I received this cookbook American Home All-Purpose Cookbook I was given a my bridal shower in 1968. Then it was a modern cookbook with lots of new methods listed. I knew very little about cooking as a young bride but found most of my recipes in this book, many of which I still use today. The best ever cakes and pie recipes, I still like to bake from scratch. Made my first hollandaise sauce and use the same recipe today." [private review]
