19th C. BRITISH 1st W.Y.Y.C. PRESENTATION SWORD
19th Century British 1st West Yorkshire Yeomanry Cavalry Presentation Sword. Slightly curved, bright blade. Dual acid etching with floral, patriotic and inscriptions. Maker marked "Reeves Maker Toledo Works Birmingham" on the ricasso and gold inlay proof mark on the reverse. Silver / Nickel plated steel hilt, 3 branch guard with ray skin grip with twisted wire. Dated 1865. Nickel / Silver plated steel scabbard. Blade Length: 34 1/2" | Total Length: 40 1/4"
