Chinese Rare Inscribed Blue and White Moon Flask. Of flattened globular body with an elongated oval section, rising from a flat base to a slender neck flanked by a pair of scroll handles, painted around the body with musicians playing various instruments in a garden setting, all between lotus lappet borders encircling the foot and shoulder, the base incised with an inscription. {Height 10.8 inches (27.4 cm)}. Condition: Repaired with Japanese 'kintsugi' gold lines.
