Description
This incredibly rare electric mower was stunningly restored and is covered in chrome. There are less than 10 known to exist today. Manufactured by Louisville Manufacturing Company of Louisville, Kentucky, it was designed and patented by Josephus Miller of Louisville, KY, on November 10, 1931. The patent documents identify it as an "edge trimming and mowing machine" featuring a horizontal cutting blade directly connected to a vertically mounted electric motor. The height of the cut was adjusted by moving the motor/blade assembly up or down. They claimed that it could get in small places with only a 12" blade and weighs only 40 pounds with an easy to use trigger switch on the handle. Fully functional and includes the Description poster that was used in the many shows it won.
