STAFFORDSHIRE AMERICAN HISTORICAL TRANSFER-PRINTED CERAMIC SUGAR BOWL, rectangular form with raised ring handles to each side, featuring the "LANDING OF GEN LA FAYETTE / At Castle Garden New York / 16th August 1824", printed below scene, depicting the arrival of the Marquis de Lafayette from France to New York Harbor to each side. Unmarked. Ralph & James Clews, Cobridge, England. 1814-1834. 6" HOA.
