A Japanese Porcelain Kutani Vase
late 19th century, cylinder form vase with bulbous lower, cicadas as faux handles flank the long neck, body is hand painted in iron red, brown, and gilt with birds and flowers with realistic details, signed to underside in red "dai nihon kutani zo" (kutani made in great Japan).
