Two Judith Leiber Minaudiere Clutches Formerly Owned by Elizabeth Taylor, 1980-90s

These bags come from the collection of Elizabeth Taylor, acquired in the 2011 Christie's sale 2629, lots 2020 and 2022.

Silver crystal minaudiere on a gold-tone scalloped metal frame with gold leather lining, top pressure clasp closure in the shape of a pearl and wreat, and a retractable chain strap.

Condition:THE FIRST  The overall condition is good with no missing crystals. There is some discoloration of the gold-tone metal on the bottom near the hinge and minor surface scratching from use.    THE SECOND  The overall condition is very good with a small patch at the center back that appears discolored and possibly from a droplet of wax or other material that has remained on the surface.    Everything is sold 'As Is'. The stated overall condition of the lot is based on the assumption that the wear is consistent with age and use. The absence of any reference to the condition of a lot does not imply that the lot is in perfect condition or completely free from wear and tear, imperfections, or the effects of aging.
