Two Necklaces Attributed to Christian Dior  c.1965

These pieces were once owned by Erna de Paz Ortiz Basualdo, the granddaughter of a prominent Argentinian family that hosted royalty in their Buenos Aires home, the Palacio Ortiz Basualdo. Erna de Paz Ortiz Basualdo was likewise known for her style, in fashion and at home, and was an ongoing client of Pierre Cardin's.  

THE FIRST  
Green and pink beaded necklace with gold-tone hardware, the pink beads in clusters resembling flowers.

Blue beaded necklace with alternating faceted translucent beads in blue and silver, and blue travertine-style beads forming clusters.

Condition:  THE FIRST  The overall condition is fair, with one cluster missing from the center of the necklace.THE SECOND  The overall condition is fair, with one cluster missing beads; two detached beads remain with the lot.  Everything is sold 'As Is'. The stated overall condition of the lot is based on the assumption that the wear is consistent with age and use.
