A mid 19th century French metalwares silver mounted two handled sugar vase and cover, mark of Martial Fray (1849-1861), Paris, with Minerva head 1st standard for 950/1000 standard silver, the circular glass bowl with scalloped decoration under a silver collar with gadrooned rim and supported on a square plinth with repoussé decoration, part marked friction fitting domed cover with beaded rim, topped with a foliate finial, two scrolled handles, raised on four decorative feet, 10cm diameter at the rim, 16cm high, 13.6ozt gross
