A Victorian carved mahogany two-part mantel, third quarter 19th century, with carved and turned elements that include fluting, scroll work, roundels and dentil molding, the super structure having five beveled glass mirrors.

Dimensions:height of upper section 53in; height of lower section 39in; width overall 60in; depth overall 12in; dimensions of interior 28 x 42in.

Provenance:From a Main Line house.

Condition

Several turned elements lacking. Otherwise general expected wear. Will not stand without being bolted to a wall.
