Artist Biography

Catherine Clark Gilbertson is a contemporary silversmith and jewelry artist. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Graphics and Illustration from Central St. Martins School of Art, London, in 1984, and her M.F.A. in 3-D Design (Metalsmithing and Jewellery) from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, Madison, in 2003. A frequent participant in exhibitions in the United States and the United Kingdom, Gilbertson has shown at Pangolin London; The Center for Visual Arts, Denver, CO; and Artspace Gallery, John Michael Kohler Arts Center, Kohler, WI.
