This is an antique Waltham open face pocket watch with a 14K gold case. The faux double sunk dial features large and easy-to-read Arabic numerals. The 21 jewel movement is adjusted five positions and is numbered 23086824. The interior of the back of the case is inscribed: "To Alfred, on his 40th Birthday, from Father, Mother, and Brothers".
It is 2 1/8" long including the crown and bow. The case diameter is 1 3/4". It weighs a total of 49.6g.

Surface abrasions to the case and crystal. The dial is crisp. The watch winds, runs, and keeps good time. As with all mechanical timepieces, this watch will require regular cleanings to maintain running condition.
