TEXAS SCHOOL ARTISTS, FIVE DRAWINGS, "5 on the Rise," HOOKS-EPSTEIN GALLERY, 1974, five ink drawings by various Texas regional artists including Euford Martin, George Wilkinson, Zolita Sverdlove, Jan Tips and J.M. Sorg, each signed, verso two gallery labels on verso; each approximately 3'' x 7'', framed together 44 3/4'' x 11 1/4''. Note: From a group show exhibition, "Show of Five Regional Works by Five Regional Artists: Euford Martin, Mike Sorg, Zolita Sverdlove, Jan Tips and George Wilkinson," June 1974, Houston, Texas. Provenance: Art collection of the late Charles and Geri L. Hooks, owners of Houston’s oldest and most prestigious art gallery, Hooks-Epstein Galleries.
