A GROUP OF FIVE PAIRS OF CLASSICAL ARCHITECTURE AND PIRATE THEME BOOKENDS AND THREE SINGLE BOOKENDS, AMERICAN, 20TH CENTURY, comprising a pair of molded earthenware bookends with black, brown, and green paint depicting the Alamo; a pair of molded earthenware bookends with blue paint depicting the Alamo; a pair of bronze bookends depicting SMU; a pair of cast iron bookends depicting a classical temple front; a pair of cast iron bookends depicting castles; a single cast iron bookend depicting a classical temple front; a single bronze bookend depicting a Texas A&M neoclassical building with raised lettering at front center reading, "G.J. Eppright," and inscribed "McC;" and a single bronze bookend depicting a cathedral; tallest height: 6''.
Condition
The earthenware pieces have minor chips and paint loss and the blue paint appears to be added later. There is also some pitting and scuffs on the metal bookends.
