A NEW MEXICO PUEBLO SLIP PAINTED POTTERY OLLA JAR, POSSIBLY HOPI, CIRCA 1931, red clay with white and black slip paint decoration including lizards, mountains, air and rain symbols, and other geometric forms in repeating registers over a tapered neck and wide shoulders raised on a tapering solid black painted base, signed in monogram and dated on foot. Height: 8" Diameter: 9" Provenance: Collection of Sue Minton Harris, Houston, Texas
