A SANKYO "ORPHEUS" 72 NOTE MECHANICAL CYLINDER AND BURLWOOD MUSIC BOX, LABELED, JAPANESE, MODERN, the rectangular hinged lid centering a leafy floral marquetry group of blond and green dyed woods inlaid within a burlwood panel trimmed in ebonized molding, opening to an interior with a clear glass panel covering the steel comb, brass music cylinder, spring housing stamped "Sanyko ORPHEUS," and other small components mounted on a textured brass plate, enclosed within conforming sides and front centering a gilt brass lyre form stop/play switch, raised on spreading molded corner feet and verso labeled "MADE IN ITALY," (for marquetry burlwood case), and gilt metal winding switch stamped "Sankyo," music cylinder plays "Clair De Lune," (in three parts) by C.
