Description
A JAPANESE ARITA EXPORT BLUE AND WHITE IGEZARA PORCELAIN CHARGER, YAMATOKU, SAGA, 1910-1920, probably late Meiji period, underglaze blue transferware decoration with overglaze, the scalloped edge plate surrounds a lattice and sun geometric motif and leafy vine reserve border, centering a ring of mythical beast masks interspersing landscape cartouches of Mount Fuji, and centering a leafy mon with orange peel line motif, verso an impressed mark.
