"Peasants of Sisteron, France" & "Bridge". Peasants is signed, matted & unframed. Bridge is unsigned, matted & unframed. Dimensions: 8 1/2" x 6 1/4"; 5 1/4" x 7 3/4". Percy Albee (1883-1959) brought his family to Paris in the late 1920's to study lithography while his wife Grace mastered wood engraving. Percy Albee was a student of both the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts and the Rhode Island School of Design. In France, Percy traveled to picturesque villages to sketch and work up his lithographs. Albee excelled with figures and architectural details.
