Three Hester Bateman Family Sterling Silver Wine Funnels

all hallmarked London, including:
one 1774-1775, by Hester Bateman, with ogee bowl and curved funnel, strainer lacking, engraved with a crest of addorsed pelican's heads out of ducal crown, l. 4-1/4", dia. 2-7/8";
one 1788-1789, by Hester Bateman, with shallow bowl, detachable straight funnel and beaded and threaded banding, h. 5-3/8", dia. 3"; and
one 1799-1800, by Peter & William Bateman, with bell-shaped bowl, curved funnel, reeded rim and detachable strainer, engraved with the crest of a salamander in flames, h. 5-1/4", dia. 3".

**The first (1774-1775) is in fair condition, showing a repair at the join of the funnel and bowl, and some dents removed from the bowl. The other two are in better condition, but do have a few bumps and ripples. The detachable funnel of 1788-1789 example is loose, but it is to be noted that it would generally have been fitted with a muslin filter which would have helped it fit more snugly. The marks are worn throughout but legible upon close inspection; detachable pieces part-marked.
