Description:
[6], 162, [3] pp. Cloth.
Inscribed and signed by Albert Einstein on the front free endpaper, "To Mr Yandall Woodfin, A. Einstein. 53." Yandall Clark Woodfin III, who was to gain fame as a Christian educator and minister, would have been in the process of acquiring his master of theology from Princeton Theological Seminary in New Jersey in 1953, and undoubtedly had some interaction, however fleeting, with the great physicist at that time. The 1950 volume is characterized on the title page as "Third edition, revised, including the generalized theory of gravitation."
Condition
Some wear and discoloration to covers, trace from removed spine label, short split at lower front joint; very good.
