A highly rare 19th-century collection of Edgar Allan Poes works that have many of his famous poems such as, The Raven, The Bells, Annabel Lee, Lenore, and much more! Also included are biographic notes and commentary by Rufus Wilmot Griswold, N.P. Willis, and J.R. Lowell.
Edgar Allan Poe is widely regarded as a central figure of Romanticism in American literature, and he was one of the nations earliest practitioners of the short story. Poe is generally considered the inventor of the detective fiction genre and is further credited with contributing to the emerging genre of science fiction.

After the war, Hubbard was a lawyer, railroad executive, financier, businessman and philanthropist, best known for his enthusiasm for Arctic exploration, which contributed to Robert Pearys discovery of the North Pole.
