Title: Official AMAZING SPIDER-MAN Zing-Wing Frisbee, 1973 * Sealed
Place Published:
Publisher:Azrak-Hamway International
Date Published: [1973]
Description:
Green frisbee with pictorial color label measuring 9" in diameter, still sealed in its illustrated cardstock and shrinkwrap package, measuring 9.25" x 12". Some crumpling to cardstock, but frisbee is in perfect condition.
You'll notice that Azrak-Hamway International's Spidey throw toy was marketed as a "Zing-Wing" and not a "frisbee". That's because "Frisbee" is a registered trademark of the Wham-O corporation, and AHI didn't want their Zing-Wing tangled in a web of litigation. Anyway, cool frisbee, neat graphics. The pic of Spidey on the Zing-Wing is an unknown commercial artist's redraw of John Romita's artwork for the 1972 Amazing Spider-Man Rockomic LP.
