About the artist: Born July 30, 1956 in the city of Sevastopol.
He took his first steps in art in the studio of fine art under the guidance of the artist Zatuchny S. In 1974, he graduated from the Sevastopol Children's Art School. Teacher - Kovalenko V.
In 1980 he graduated from the Crimean Art College named after N.S. Samokish. Teacher by profession - L. Balkind
Since 1980 - a participant in all-Union and republican exhibitions. Works as an artist at the Sevastopol art and production workshops.
In 2000 he was awarded by the National Academy of Art of Ukraine with the Certificate of Honor “For Contribution to the Fine Arts of Ukraine”.
Lives and works in Sevastopol.
Since 1990 - Member of the National Union of Artists.
Works are in museums and private collections in Ukraine, Russia, USA, Germany, Poland, Belgium, Holland, Turkey, Austria.
Vladimir Nikolaevich Olkhov feels equally confident in such various techniques as watercolor, gouache and tempera. His landscapes are invariably lyrical, modest and sincere. With love, he writes out the timid first greens in the sheet “Spring. Spill ”, delicate whiteness in the work“ The Garden Bloomed ”, the sea shore flooded with the hot summer sun in the sheet“ Crimea. Gurzuf.
