Himalayan figure of Vajrabhairava Yamantaka, Likely 19th c., Tibet, cast gilt copper alloy, in three parts, depicting Dharmapala Yamantaka as Vajrabhairava, with a fierce buffalo head and seven human heads, each with a third eye and adorned with a skull crown, extending thirty-four arms each holding ritual weapons and implements, the consort in ecstatic union with the left leg wrapped around the waist of the partner, his sixteen legs standing in pratyalidhasana on birds, animals and Hindu deities on an rounded square lotus throne, engraved Visvavajra to underside, approx. 11.5"h x 9"w x 6"d
