c. 1876 U.S. Centennial Era, George Washington & Abraham Lincoln Straight Razor with Carved-Bone Handle with its Original Case, "M. Jung New-York," Choice Very Fine.
Scarce dual-portrait Straight Razor having a 3" blade, a total length of 9.25" when open and 6" when closed. Carved-bone handle with warm age toning. The blade is has a George Washington bust portrait above Abraham Lincoln's bust portrait. Below the blade is stamped "HUNTER RAZOR" having normal light wear to both handle and blade. Accompanied by its original black two-piece slipcase, embossed with maker's name "M. Jung New-York" on the lower part and "No. 20" on the upper. Choice razor commemorating two great United States Presidents. A rarely encountered major type.
