It is difficult to detect restorations under UV light but in the upper right corner and the at the center of the right edge the pigments appear darker than the surrounding colors.
A paper label affixed to the stretcher is inscribed 39. The checklist of 1,000 paintings lists no. 39 as For Rest and Refreshment.
