From the home of a Maine family.
For similar example of spade foot cardtable wee: The Furniture Masterworks of John and Thomas Seymour, Robert Mussey Jr., page 340.
"The apron rails are built up from five thin, laminated, horizontal wood strips, a method that appears to characterize the Seymour cardtables of this early Boston period. "
