Description
Three Austrian Silver Tablewares, Nineteenth-Early Twentieth Century. Comprising a pair of tongs, maker's mark ITTB?, Vienna, 1823, Viennese cross shield with 13 loth mark and date 1823, marked top of handle; a dish and cover with glass insert, Frank Rudolf, Vienna, 1882-1914, marked inside base and inside cover rim; a toast rack, maker's mark A & K, Vienna, after 1922, maker's mark, "W"- toucan-"4" city and assay mark and "800" to interior base edge, and city assay mark side of handle. Together with a pair of American sterling silver salt and pepper shakers, Reed & Barton, early twentieth century, weighted, and a Vienna Secession silverplate sweetmeat dish, the glass liner engraved with stylized flower baskets within fern fronds. 12.43 troy ozs. weighable Silverplate bowl: H: 2.875 in., W: 7.75 in., D: 5.5 in.
