Ca. 1844-45 oil on canvas depicting Ephriam Corey, his wife Mary Ann Austin Corey and their baby boy Wheelock Corey, of West Boscawen (Webster) NH. The reverse canvas bears the stamp of Hollis & Wheeler Boston MA, a firm that was active from 1843-1849, aligning with the year this portrait was painted. This portrait is illustrated in Jennifer Yunginger book, â€œIs She or Isnâ€™t He” page 89. Canvas size 30” x 40”, Overall in a period lemon gold frame 37” x 45”. Provenance: the Donald and Phyllis Randall Estate.
