All eight pieces in generally good condition; no visible chips, cracks, or restoration. They have some areas of minor firing flaws, most likely to be original to the artistic process. All have wear to their footrim, consistent with their use and age. Six of the pieces have crazing throughout. One of the cups has a network of accretions throughout the interior. The plate with splatter decoration has a 3/4 inches long accretion along the underside near the footrim, only visible through careful scrutiny. Along the upper surface of the salt shaker, there is a distinctive dark spot due to a firing flaw; along with it, there is a 3/4 inches long area of slight discoloration.
