Height: 13 1/4 in x diameter: 10 in.
Condition
The jug is in generally good condition. Crazing and wear throughout the jug. There are two major chips that are 3/4 inch and 1/2 inch long, along with other minute chips, to the rim. There is a 1 inch chip to the handle. Right by the handle, there is a 1/4 inch long crack, which is not visible at arm length. Below the handle, there is a 1/2 inch long crack that is discolored dark. There are firing flaws throughout, which cause some surface bubbles. There is a noticeable yellow line starting from the handle toward the butterfly, which measures 3 1/4 inch, possibly a glazing flaw that is original to the artistic practice. Towards the foot of the jug, there are multiple chips to the surface; there is a network of discolored areas, which possibly is original to the piece. There are multiple chips to the footrim, as expected from its use and age. When inspected under UV light, there was no sign of restoration. Please contact us for a detailed condition report. Please note that the lack of a condition statement does not imply perfect condition. Email condition@revereauctions.com with any condition questions.
