Description
Pair of KPM Berlin German porcelain plaques, painted after Balthazar Denner (German, 1685-1749), depicting an elderly man and woman, dressed in luxurious furs. Each signed Weigel along the lower right. Both impressed with the KPM and scepter marks along the verso, along with a maker's mark and the letters Sz and G, respectively. Both incised "255-195" along the verso. Both housed in ornate giltwood frames.
