This exact decoy appears in Creek Chub Lures & Collectibles on page 155, listed as an “Early Prototype for the Ice Fishing Decoy made around 1920, Rare”. Measuring 4 1/4” in length, finished in scale perch with fin slots, and rigged with a metal tail and 5 interior belly weights. It appears to have had some use with wear and chips. An important addition to even the most advanced Creek Chub collection - to our knowledge, this very special decoy is one of a kind.
