Janis Joplin's Personally Owned Black Floral Embroidered Blouse W/Notarized LOA From Mickey Deans - This black cotton blouse with colorful floral embroidery was personally owned by iconic rock and roll singer, Janis Joplin. The blouse comes with a notarized letter of authenticity from Mickey Deans, a nightclub manager and promoter, and most well-known as the fifth and final husband of Judy Garland. The letter from Deans states in part, "This black cotton short sleeve hippie style blouse with multi-color flower embroidered accents around sleeves and neck with red string trim was owned and worn by singer Janis Joplin. Janis gave this blouse to me after seeing many items from fellow singers on display in my nightclub in London in 1969." The blouse has a faint smell of patchouli. According to our seller, this item was acquired in person from Deans years ago by an avid collector who has since passed and whose mother is now liquidating the collection.
